South Placer Municipal Utility District Commemorates Special Districts Week
South Placer Municipal Utility District commemorates Special Districts Week to encourage residents of South Placer County to be involved in their community and be civically engaged with their local government. Special districts are local government entities created by a community’s residents, funded by those residents, and overseen by those residents, to provide specialized services and infrastructure.
South Placer Municipal Utility District was formed in 1956 to provide sanitary sewer collection services to South Placer County. The District has won numerous industry awards and has the lowest monthly rate for sewer service in the region. You can reach us at (916) 786-8555 to report a sewer emergency such as a sewage spillage, sewage on the ground, plumbing draining slowly, or a blockage. We will respond 24/7 at no charge.
Help us Celebrate How Districts Make the Difference during Special Districts Week, May 19-25, 2024.
