Job Specification - Management Analyst

Monthly Salary: $7,192 - $8,742

Benefits provided include CalPERS retirement, District-paid health insurance up to the Kaiser HMO Full Family Rate, 457 plan with District match up to $150 per bi-weekly pay period, Vacation, Sick leave, 40 hours of Administrative Time Off, and Life insurance.

The Management Analyst position is an exempt/confidential, professional-level position that works on a variety of assignments and projects, providing support to multiple program areas including fiscal support, human resources support, board secretary support, and utility billing and account support.

Minimum requirements are a Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of increasingly responsible professional experience in public administration, finance, or other relevant functions OR an Associate Degree and 12 Years of professional experience in public administration, finance, or other relevant functions.  A valid CA driver's license is required.

General Manager

Salary: $195,000 to $237,000 DOQ

The South Placer Municipal Utility District is seeking an outstanding General Manager to lead its mission of protecting the public health and water environment, providing efficient and effective sanitary sewer services, and preparing for the future. The District has a reputation as a highly desirable District and has won numerous industry awards.

The General Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the District and reports to a five-member board. The General Manager plans, organizes, directs, and reviews the overall administrative activities of the District; advises and assists the Board; and represents the District’s interests at local, regional, State, and Federal levels.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited college or university in engineering, business, public administration, or a closely related field; a Master’s Degree is desirable. Five years of professional experience at a senior executive level in municipal utility systems, ideally with knowledge of wastewater maintenance systems and progressive responsibility in the administration and operation of wastewater systems.
